Tea Meditation Session
Each session takes place in our tea room in Taitung — a minimalist space on Taiwan’s east coast, framed by mountains and ocean. It was built with the intention to embrace silence, cultivate awareness, and offer a different view on life. Nothing inside is decorative. Everything serves the experience.
Our tea meditation sessions last around two hours, with flexibility. There is no fixed format — just a rhythm shaped by the tea and those present. You don’t need any prior experience. You arrive as you are.
During the experience, we serve two wild- or naturally-farmed loose leaf teas — grown without pesticides and often without fertilizer. These teas are art pieces, vastly different from conventional tea in terms of purity, flavor profile and their effect on body and mind.
The tea is chosen intentionally to match your current state of mind. It is brewed gongfu-style and served in silence. No music, no talk — just space to observe and feel. Your body may begin to relax, your mind may slow down — or you may become aware of the noise within once given space to expand in a safe, quiet environment. Either way, clarity will emerge and change will take place. Afterward, there’s ample space for exchange and conversation if you wish to reflect or ask questions.
For many guests, one session is just the beginning. Some return in person for a customized workshop. Others continue through one of our classes (also available as online format) or begin a simple home practice with naturally- or wild-farmed tea. What starts in our tea room often grows — quietly, personally and on your own terms.
